Are you aged between 14 – 23? Want to be a voice for young people in Central Goldfields? Do you want to make a change in your community and learn great leadership skills along the way?

We're looking for passionate young people to become our Youth Voice. You don’t need to have any previous leadership experience - just enthusiasm and a voice.

The goals of the Youth Council are to:

• Provide opportunities for young people to have a say in and influence Council policies, plans, and strategies
• Promote the valuable role of young people as members of the community and highlight their ongoing contributions
• Provide skill development opportunities for young people to grow as leaders
• Provide opportunities for Councillors to meet, hear, and learn from young people
• Create opportunities for young people to engage with and learn about the broader community
