Supporting public health and the environment is an important priority for Council.

Except for the main business centre of Maryborough, as well as parts of Dunolly and Carisbrook, a large part of Central Goldfields is not serviced by reticulated sewer.

This means we need to manage existing and new septic systems well to protect the environment and public health.
