Grandstand - Design constraints

The Heritage status of the Grandstand, and other factors, mean there are some constraints with the design -

■ Cannot change the original structure (other than to meet DDA requirements)

■ Cannot change the heritage appearance

■ The State Sporting Association (SSA) has guideline around how a sporting facility must operate

■ The staging of refurbishment works. These are largely guided by external funding requirements, and conservation will need to be prioritised.
