Local Area Action Plan

Consultation has concluded

Last year, we surveyed the community and asked local tourism operators to join us at roundtables to discuss their priorities and approach to growing tourism in the region. This work was in partnership with Bendigo Regional Tourism, to help create a Destination Management Plan for the region and also a Local Area Action Plan (LAAP) for our shire.

Using the draft Destination Management Plan and roundtables, we have created a Local Area Action Plan (LAAP), which is available for community feedback. We are keen to hear both community and tourism industry feedback on this action plan, so that we can work together on implementing it across the Shire.

Feedback is open until Wednesday 14 August at 3pm.
